Directions for Single Serving Dam
Coffee Bags
USING Just Hot
Water
Place the
coffee bag in a coffee cup while keeping the string ends out of the cup. Add 8 oz. of boiling water and dip
occasionally for 4 minutes. Remove
and let the water drain out of the bag into the cup, or preferably, you may use
a spoon and gently squeeze the bag against the edge of the cup. CAUTION, it will be HOT!
You may add
more or less water according to your taste. Coffee starts releasing unpleasant
flavors 4-5 minutes after exposure to water, so for optimal flavor, it is best
not to let it soak longer if you add too much water. Fresh roasted coffee made this
way, taste amazingly good, even when made at an improper strength.
If you make
a travel mug of coffee, we recommend you use two bags for a standard 16-ounce
travel mug.
Some people
have also had luck using a Microwave by using cold water and around 2 ½ minutes
time, although we have not tested this method ourselves.
ENJOY!
